Improving UX On Moving Industry Leader's Website

As an Art Director in HLK's internship program, I collaborated with the internship team and mentors to improve the user experience on their client’s website. For the sake of copyright, the client’s name and property have not been used - they will be referred to as MovingCo.

To increase transparency and communication, I designed a concept that incorporated a tracker function to MovingCo’s website and app. This would allow MovingCo’s customers to have direct access to the location of their goods as well as a more accurate window for when their goods will arrive at their next destination.

The next concept I designed revolved around an interactive quiz that prospective customers can take to tailor their MovingCo’s services to best suit their own needs.

First, users would be directed to the quiz page through a banner graphic within the homepage carousel. After answering a series of questions about their current residence and desired destination, users would be guided to the results page. On this results page, users would be assigned to a primary “Moving Type” based on their answers, which would suggest the ideal MovingCo services to best fit their needs. Users would also be able to scroll through a carousel to view the other “Moving Types” and the different services suggested for each type.
